The PIONEER Festival at Avans University of Applied Sciences brought together Avans colleagues from different disciplines around one central question: how do we shape the major urban challenges of our time?

During the festival, we made two movements visible.

• From an outside-in perspective, we asked: what are the European priorities and opportunities within the alliance?
• From an inside-out perspective, we explored where Avans stands in this collaboration and how we can further strengthen our role?

With inspiring contributions from, among others, our partner TH Köln, one thing became clear: societal impact does not stop at national borders.

Shaping Future Cities together

By working together, we are not only building impact in Europe and the region, but also a strong, connected alliance of colleagues who shape the future every day.
