The PIONEER Alliance met together virtually to discuss potential collaboration with the Blekinge Institute of Technology In Sweden (BTH).

Mats Walter, International Director attended the meeting together with professor Peter Schlyter,  Head of Spatial Planning Department and doctor Sven Borén, Head of Strategic Sustainable Development Department.

The Blekinge Institute of Technology in Sweden meets high international standards in education and research, focusing on IT integrated with other disciplines such as engineering, industrial economics, spatial planning, product design, sustainable development and health sciences.

The BTH works closely with industry and society. Innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainability are included in all programmes. The BTH focuses on digitalisation and sustainability, which support and are supported by research.  A close cooperation with the Pioneer alliance is considered.
