Joint Research Projects

Ongoing collaborative research for real urban impact.

This section presents joint research projects already funded and currently underway within the PIONEER Alliance. The projects involve multidisciplinary teams addressing key urban challenges in Europe, from digitalisation and mobility to energy and social inclusion.

Each Initiative contributes to the creation of a European (or PIONEER) Research Hub that, together with Educational activities and collaboration with ecosystem drives urban transformation toward sustainable futures.

Among the ongoing initiatives is the RETIME project, developed in cooperation with partners from Iscte – University Institute of Lisbon, University of Žilina, and Technische Hochschule Köln.
