UHU is a public institution located in the SW of Spain and fully aligned with the 2030 agenda and, therefore, committed to equality, equity and sustainability. It includes 11000 students , about 1000 academic staff and 450 administrative staff, offering 40 bachelor programs, 39 Master programs and 11 PhD programs. It is a young institution (1993) and, perhaps for this reason, it is characterised by its flexibility, dynamism and modernity. Likewise, it is a University fully involved in the welfare of its territory through the establishment of synergies with its institutional, social and productive environment. These firm roots in its environment also give it the strength to develop a clear vocation for international projection, especially to Europe, Latin America and Africa. The university of Huelva includes more than 90 research groups and 8 research centers, our specialization being Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or tourism. More than 75% of our staff has a PhD.
